How to Calibrate & Use
- Initial Calibration: Take the device outdoors into fresh air. Turn it on and leave it for 10-15 minutes to allow the sensor to calibrate to a clean baseline.
- Room Testing: Bring the device indoors and place it in the room you wish to test (e.g., near new furniture or freshly painted walls). Keep doors and windows closed for at least 30 minutes prior to testing for accurate ambient readings.
- Reading the Display: The screen will display the current HCHO concentration in mg/m³, alongside the room's temperature and humidity.
- Responding to Alerts: If the HCHO level exceeds the safe threshold (typically >0.1 mg/m³), the device will trigger its visual, sound, and vibration alarms. Open windows immediately to ventilate the area.
