A highly accurate, rechargeable formaldehyde detector that monitors HCHO, temperature, and humidity with instant triple-alert warnings.
At VibTest, we believe that the air inside your home should be as safe as the air outside. Founded in the UK, we recognised a growing concern among homeowners, landlords, and renovators about the hidden chemicals released by new furniture, fresh paint, and building materials. Formaldehyde (HCHO) is one of the most common, yet it is completely invisible and odourless at lower, but still harmful, concentrations.
We created the VibTest monitor to provide a practical, highly accurate solution for everyday domestic and light commercial use. Unlike confusing multi-gas meters or standard carbon monoxide alarms, our devices are purpose-built to act as a dedicated formaldehyde air quality tester. We integrated temperature and humidity sensors to give you a complete picture of your indoor environment, alongside our signature triple-alert system featuring vibration, sound, and visual warnings.
Today, VibTest is trusted across Britain by new parents preparing nurseries, professionals setting up home offices, and facilities managers ensuring safe workspaces. We are committed to straightforward, reliable technology, backed by UK-based customer support, fast delivery, and comprehensive warranties. Breathe easier knowing exactly what is in your air.
Our products are designed and supported in the UK, ensuring superior quality and fast tracked delivery from our British warehouse. We offer free UK delivery on all orders, eco-friendly packaging to reduce carbon footprint, and warm, direct customer service. Every order is backed by a generous 30-day returns policy under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — you are always protected.

We bought this after having new fitted wardrobes installed in our bedroom. The chemical smell was awful. This formaldehyde meter showed levels were way too high. The vibration alert is brilliant-we knew instantly when to open the windows. Great piece of kit.
Outstanding indoor air quality monitor. I run a small property management firm and use this portable formaldehyde detector to check newly renovated flats before tenants move in. Fast delivery and very easy to use.
As someone who understands indoor environmental health, I'm impressed by the accuracy of the electrochemical sensor in this unit. The addition of temperature and humidity readings is vital, as off-gassing increases in warm, damp conditions.
A very solid digital formaldehyde detector. The readings seem highly accurate and the screen is clear. My only minor gripe is that you have to calibrate it outside in fresh air for 10 minutes before the first use, but the instructions make this clear.
I was looking at formaldehyde detector reviews and comparing this to the zykycx formaldehyde detector uk models. I chose VibTest because of the UK warranty and the rechargeable battery. It works perfectly in our new nursery.
Bought this to check our home office after laying new laminate flooring. It spiked immediately and the alarm sounded. Very reassuring to have. The battery lasts well enough for spot-checking around the house, though it needs charging if left on 24/7.
